A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a certain email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you disable an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten email address under the very same domain name, you’ll receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you are running some business, for instance. Since you may start receiving unsolicited bulk email messages, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software so as to receive only legitimate email messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox with ease if you’ve got a shared hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet extremely intuitive, and it will permit you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve got will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one you’ll find a mini "Catch-all" icon. Clicking on it once will enable this feature, clicking on it once more will disable it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this feature enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server package that we’re offering will allow you to configure a catch-all mailbox without difficulty even in case you don’t have much web/email hosting experience. All it takes to achieve that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each mailbox that you have created using your domains in the Control Panel’s Email Manager section. As you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will let you know if you’ve already created a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding enabled. If you decide that you don’t need this feature any longer, you can turn it off by clicking once again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager section will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
